iPhone & iPad

Work on the shop floor with the native, online-only iOS client.

Vyrab for iOS is a native SwiftUI client for work on the shop floor. It supports iPhone and iPad running iOS 17 or later. The client works with the Vyrab server and your existing operator account.

An active connection to the server is required. There is no offline mode or background synchronization of offline changes.

Before you begin

Ask your administrator for the installation link, the server address and an operator account with the appropriate roles. A public App Store listing is not currently linked from this website; do not assume the app is available for public download.

The web workspace is erp.vyrab.com. Use the server address supplied for the mobile client: depending on deployment, it may differ from the web interface address.

  1. Install the version provided by your administrator.
  2. Open Vyrab, check the server address and sign in.
  3. Review the available sections. Access follows your role; different employees may see different actions.
  4. Allow camera access when using barcode or QR scanning.

Home and assignments

Home brings together quick actions and production information relevant to the current operator. Use assignments to open a task, review its operation and order, and start or complete work using the available actions.

Check the part, operation and quantity before recording output. Do not confuse completion of a work session with the acceptance of good-quality output: quality decisions are a separate workflow.

Shift actions allow you to clock in and out. Use the correct employee and shift; ask an administrator to check the employee-to-operator link if your own identity is not filled in as expected.

Scan and record output

  1. Open the scan action for the task you want to perform.
  2. Scan the code on the routing sheet or relevant object.
  3. Check the object resolved by the app, including the operation and order.
  4. Enter and verify the requested quantity and other fields before submitting.

Batch scanning is available for supported workflows. A recognized code is a way to find an object, not confirmation that a production or warehouse operation has already been recorded.

Warehouse and quality

With the required access, the client supports warehouse receipts and issues, work with limit cards, and quality-control workflows. QC includes scanning, inspection decisions and defects.

Before confirming a warehouse movement, check the item, quantity, unit and location. Before recording a quality decision, check the operation and result being inspected. If the server rejects a request, review the message and verify the object's state before retrying.

Orders and the assistant

Production and customer orders provide context for shop-floor work. The AI assistant is available when enabled on the server and permitted for your role. Review proposed changes before confirming them; an AI answer is not a substitute for checking the underlying production record.

Appearance and local protection

Choose a light theme, a dark theme or the system appearance. The app supports local protection with Face ID, Touch ID or the device passcode, depending on device capabilities. Authentication credentials are stored in Keychain.

Local device unlocking does not grant extra server permissions. Protect the device itself and sign out when handing it to another person.

When something is unavailable

  • Cannot connect: check connectivity, the server address and any required company network access.
  • Section or action missing: ask your administrator to check your operator roles.
  • Scanner unavailable: check camera permission and the readability of the code.
  • Interrupted submission: reconnect and check whether the record exists before submitting it again.

No offline queue is available. Camera recognition and live production writes should be validated on your organization's actual devices and deployment.
